                 Making the Move to AppleTree Credit Union:

Quick & EZ!

Changing financial institutions is easier than you think, and with AppleTree’s EZSwitch Kit Worksheet, switching just got easier! We have organized everything you will need to make the switch to AppleTree Credit Union’s products and services. Fill out the worksheet with the information you will need to make the switch to AppleTree, then follow the simple steps below to make the move today!

I. Apply for Your New AppleTree Credit Union Account

  • Compare checking and savings accounts at www.appletree.org to find the service which best fits your needs
  • Stop by one of our two locations to open your new account
  • Already a member of AppleTree? Want to transfer money from other financial institutions to AppleTree? No problem! Call today to transfer your money to your AppleTree account!

II. Move Your Automatic Payments and Direct Deposits to AppleTree

III. Close Your Old Account

  • Once all automatic transactions have been switched to your new AppleTree account and all outstanding checks have cleared on your old account, notify your previous financial institution to close your account and send the remaining balance to you (or have it transferred to your new AppleTree Credit Union account)
  • Account Closing Notification
