Tax time is right around the corner, and tax forms will soon be available within online banking or sent in the mail. To check if you’ve signed up for e-tax forms, (the quickest way to receive them), sign into your online banking account, then click:

SERVICES > ENROLLMENT > STATEMENTS AND NOTIFICATIONS.

Forms will be available online in mid-January. For members who receive mailed monthly or quarterly account statements, they will be mailed by January 31. If you are expecting a refund, sign up for direct deposit to receive your refund even faster. Direct deposit is easy and prevents your refund check from getting stolen or lost in the mail. Things to know:  

• A 1098-INT form (mortgage interest you paid to the credit union) is issued when interest in 2023 exceeded $600. Information on last year’s mortgage interest can be found within online banking by clicking on the loan.
  

• A 1099-DIV form (interest paid to you by the credit union) is issued when more than $10 is earned in 2023.
  

• For deposits into your checking or money market account, use the full 10-digit number found on the bottom of your checks. When directing the deposit into your savings account, use your four or five-digit number.  
  

• Our ABA/routing number (found on your checks) is 275082471. It is also found at the bottom of our website, www.appletree.org.
